About
From the start of the pandemic in 2020 when we were in lock-down, I decided to send out a daily devotion, except on weekends, via WhatsApp and Facebook to our members. Soon it was distributed more widely on the Net. After a year, I asked some members of staff and a few other lay folk to assist with this endeavour as we moved beyond lock-down.
As with our sermons, the devotions cover a wide variety of topics, some as one-off episodes, others as parts of a mini-series.
Our prayer is that God will use this channel to meet you where you are in your own faith journey. May it help you to grow in your relationship with Christ and become a more effective disciple.
God bless you,
Pastor Graeme

[Author: Graeme Mercer] How we know whether something we do is according to God’s will or not? How do we know whether something is right or wrong based on Scripture? How do we discern God’s will in the so-called ‘grey’ areas of life, those areas that the Bible may not explicitly address? In this series we are going to be answering these and other practical questions along this theme.

[Author: Graeme Mercer] During the earthly ministry of Jesus belief in Him was dependent upon seeing him, but is seeing the same as believing? Evidence that Jesus had a historical existence is not the real issue of belief, for even unbelievers testify to that. To believe in Him was more than just seeing, it was believing something about Him, which is why John wrote His Gospel (John 20:31). We will explore this question in the next devotions as we look at the post resurrection appearances of Jesus.
